After a few days of shooting of ‘Rebel’, Anushka had differences of opinion with the director and walked out of the project. It is learnt that Tamanna was contacted by the film unit and convinced to pair up with Prabhas.
With the exit of Anushka, the director had to reshoot certain scenes. This is the first ever combination for the hero and heroine.
It is worth mentioning here that Tamanna is presently busy with a handful of projects in Telugu and Tamil languages. She is pairing up with NTR for ‘Oosaravelli’, with Ramcharan for ‘Rachcha’ and with Ram for Yendukante Premanta. Rebel also features Deeksha Seth as the second heroine.
Rebel is being directed by Raghava Larencce while it is being produced by J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao on the banner of Sri Balaji Cine Media. Thaman is scoring music for the movie.
